The RadianXTSL Convertible Car Seat is designed to be configured as rear-facing for babies from 5 – 45 lbs. and forward-facing for children from 20 – 80 lbs.

Pros:

• SuperLATCH is rated up to the car seat limit of 80 lbs.  This is an excellent feature, since many other car seats have LATCH limit ratings, which require you to re-install the car seat using a seatbelt after your child reaches LATCH limit weight.
• Child can use the 5-point harness up to the car seat weight limit.
• The car seat can fold for moving.

Cons:

• Harness shoulder height adjustment requires re-threading the straps.
• Very heavy (although it is steel, and most car seats are not made of steel)
• The car seat is fairly deep in a rear-facing configuration.
