Description / Specs / Features:
The Peg Perego Skate Stroller is a stroller frame that can be equipped with a bassinet / stroller seat (included) or Prima Viaggio infant car seat (sold separately). The stroller is designed for a baby up to 45 lbs. or 43″. The bassinet / padded seat can be configured forward or rear facing, and rear-facing using the infant car seat carrier. The advantage of stroller bassinet and infant car seat compatibility is that they can “click” lock into the stroller frame and be moved from stroller to home or vehicle without disturbing your baby.
- Child weight / height: up to 45 lbs. or 43”
- Stroller weight: 30.2 lbs.
- Aluminum stroller frame that includes an infant bassinet / padded seat.
- Includes canopy, leg cover boot and rain cover that fits both bassinet and stroller seat
- Removable canopy unzips to extend
- The stroller is infant car seat compatible (infant car seat sold separately)
- The stroller seat folds up with the frame.
- 5-point harness
- Shock absorbers and ball bearings on all the front swivel or locking wheels
- Air filled wheels with pump
- Central linked rear brake
- Height adjustable handle
- Parent drink holder.
- Padded bumper bar
- Removable Basket/Carry-all with handles.
- Backrest angle can be adjusted from the outside
- The hood and cover can also be used on the stroller
- Reversible seat can be adjusted to 3 different heights and 3 recline positions
- 2 position leg rest
- Standard Primo Viaggio infant car seat Tri-Fix adapters included
- Wheel dimensions: 6.5” (front); 10” (rear)
- Dimensions (open): 36.2″L x 24″W x 45.2″H
- Dimensions (folded): 36.6″L x 24″ x 22.6″H
Pros:
- Modern look and nice configurability design ideas.
- Seat / bassinet can be configured forward or rear facing, and the stroller is infant car seat compatible as well, which are all great features.
- Comes with a rain shield (although stroller is fairly expensive)
- Maneuverable and smooth with all wheel shocks.
Cons:
- Fairly heavy at 30 lbs.
- Mixed user reviews with some having quality issues (e.g. wobbly bassinet and sticky brakes) while others love it.
- Has a lower storage mesh area that is not a basket, so you can’t carry smaller items, and things may fall out.
- 5-point harness does not attach at the shoulder to the seat back.

Again $700 for a stroller. The question is; what’s your baby’s happiness worth to you? I can definitely see the value of this stroller when your baby is 0-3 months and when it sits up, maybe till 7 months.
