The Graco SafeSeat Car Seat is designed as a rear-facing only infant car for a baby from 5 to 30 lbs and 32”.  This car seat is compatible with some Graco strollers as well as other manufacturer’s strollers on the market (strollers sold separately).  The convenience here is that you can “click” lock or strap (depending on the stroller manufacturer) the car seat’s infant carrier into the car seat base or stroller, allowing you to move your baby in the carrier from one to the other without disturbing them.

Pros:

• Compatibility with a number of strollers on the market (sold separately) is a very nice feature to have when you’re out and about with your infant.
• .Very sturdy.
• Comfortable for baby.

Cons:

• Many users say that their babies grew out of this car seat a bit earlier than expected, while noting their child was under the specified limits due to the limits of the harness strap length at max adjustment.
• The infant carrier is 9.8 lbs., and for most becomes very difficult to lift via handle by the time your child is ~20 lbs, so you may lose use of the carrier feature at that time (this is rated to 30 lbs.).  This is not so much a con, as a note of consideration.
