The Cosco Scenera Convertible Car Seat is designed to be configurable as rear-facing for infants from 5 – 35 lbs, and forward-facing for children from 22 – 40 lbs.

Pros:

• Very good price range and does the job.
• Lots of fabric options.

Cons:

• No EPP/EPS foam (there are other car seats in this price range with similar features plus some EPS foam).
• Padding is fairly thin, and it doesn’t come with extra padding or infant head support cushion.
• Maximum forward facing weight is 40 lbs. (while this is not bad, you’ll eventually need to buy another car seat when your child reaches this weight).
