The Chicco Cortina KeyFit Travel System includes a rear facing infant car seat rated up to 22 lbs. (KeyFit 22) or 30 lbs. (KeyFit 30) that also serves as an infant carrier, and a stroller rated to 50 lbs.  The KeyFit design allows the infant carrier to “click” lock into the car seat base, and also “click” lock into the stroller.  This system is highly convenient, as the baby can be strapped into the carrier anywhere, and moved from stroller to car seat base without disturbing them.  The stroller can be used without the infant carrier up to 50 lbs.

Pros:

• Very convenient to have an infant carrier that can easily click locks into the stroller or car seat base, where baby can be moved from one to the other.
• Very nice feature set.
• Well built and attractive system.

Cons:

• Stroller recline control is low on the back and inconvenient to reach.
• The carrier is a little heavy, and as your baby approaches 20 lbs., it can be very difficult to carry.  For the KeyFit 30 version, you may lose the infant carrier feature before your baby outgrows the car seat (this is not so much a con, as a consideration for purchase).

• The stroller height is good for taller users.
• Generous stroller canopy for an umbrella style stroller.
• Trendy looking.

Cons:

• Some users have had difficulty with the infant carrier base lock and release mechanism.
• Infant car seat does not have an infant head support.
• Stroller does not recline completely (although it is infant car seat compatible, which can be used while your baby is small).
• Some users find that the stroller is not very maneuverable.
• The infant carrier is 9.25 lbs., and for most will become very difficult to lift via handle by the time your child is ~20 lbs, so you may lose use of the carrier feature at that time (the car seat is rated to 33 lbs.).  This is not so much a con, as a note of consideration.
