The Bugaboo Frog Stroller is a stroller chassis that can be equipped with a bassinet, stroller seat (both included) or a Graco SnugRide 22 infant car seat (adaptor and car seat sold separately).  The stroller is designed for a baby from birth up to 37.5 lbs.  The bassinet / padded seat can be configured forward or rear facing, and rear-facing using the infant car seat carrier.  The advantage of stroller bassinet and infant car seat compatibility is that they can “click” lock into the stroller frame and be moved from stroller to nursery or vehicle (infant car seat only in vehicle) without disturbing your baby.

• Fairly expensive, although bassinet is included.  Cup holder is not included.

Cons:

• The stroller is not infant car seat compatible.
• Not really a one hand fold and can’t steer with one hand.
• No bumper bar or child tray.
• Fairly expensive (rain cover is not included)

• The stroller is fairly heavy, and not a compact, although the name CityX3 might imply otherwise.
• Fairly expensive and doesn’t include the infant car seat adapter bar, water bottle holder, or rain cover (a note of consideration for purchase), although you can purchase these items separately.
• Has the appearance of a jogger, but is not rate for jogging.

• Seat / bassinet can be configured forward or rear facing, and the stroller is infant car seat compatible as well, which are all great features.
• Comes with a rain shield (although stroller is fairly expensive)
• Maneuverable and smooth with all wheel shocks.

Cons:

• Fairly heavy at 30 lbs.
• Mixed user reviews with some having quality issues (e.g. wobbly bassinet and sticky brakes) while others love it.
• Has a lower storage mesh area that is not a basket, so you can’t carry smaller items, and things may fall out.
• 5-point harness does not attach at the shoulder to the seat back.

The Joovy Caboose Stand-On Tandem Stroller is designed to carry 2 children, one in the back seat & platform area, and the other in the front seat position.  The front seat is “strap-in” infant car seat compatible (sold separately).  The back seat & platform is rated for a child over 2.5 years, up to 44” with a maximum weight of 45 lbs.  The front seat is rated for a child from 6 months, up to 40” with a maximum weight of 45 lbs.  When using a compatible infant car carrier, it is rated for that specific infant car seat (please see compatible infant car seats below).  The advantage of infant car seat compatibility is that the infant carrier can be strapped onto the stroller and be moved from car seat to stroller without disturbing your baby.  The difference between this version and the Joovy Caboose Ultralight, is that this version is 5 lbs. heavier (Ultralight uses 6061 aircraft aluminum), and the Joovy Ultralight has an oversized canopy.

• Very affordable.  At the low end of the price range, there’s a significant saving over the Joovy Caboose Ultralight Tandem in exchange for 5 lbs. in additional weight and a smaller canopy (see cons).
• Many users say that their toddlers enjoy riding in the rear seat.

Cons:

• When an infant car seat carrier is installed in the front position, it may take some room away from the child in the rear seat.
• At 26 lbs., it’s heavier that the Joovy Caboose Ultralight Lightweight Tandem stroller (5 lbs. heavier, see pros on affordability)
• The front seat can’t fully recline and the canopy is fairly small.

The Joovy Zoom ATS Jogging Stroller is a forward-facing stroller, designed for jogging with a single child 6 months+ up to 75 lbs.  There are a few differences between the Joovy 360 and the Joovy ATS, in that the Joovy 360 has a full 360 degree radius front swivel wheel (can be locked straight), and the Joovy ATS has a fixed front wheel only.  A jogging stroller front wheel is typically fixed if walking or running on long straight paths, where swivel mode assists in general use turn maneuverability.  The Joovy ATS does have a hand brake for safety which the 360 does not have, there are slight differences in the stroller dimensions, and the front wheel on the 360 is 12”, where the ATS front wheel is 16”.

Pros:

• Has a safety hand brake (Note: There are jogger strollers that do not have this feature)
• Well made, durable and affordable for a jogger stroller.
• The canopy is very generous
• Comes with a rain / wind cover that has a very convenient baby access panel, so you can reach in to get to your baby.
• Linked brakes are very nice to have where many strollers require you to individually push a brake for each wheel.

Cons:

• It is not compatible with infant car seats, so you can’t use it until your child is 6 months+.
• The front wheel is permanently fixed, and has no swivel mode to make it maneuverable for uses such as store shopping (Note that this is not so much a con, since it is a jogging stroller, but a consideration for purchase).  For turning, it requires pushing down on the handle to lift the front wheel.
