The First Years True Fit Convertible Car Seat is designed to be configurable as rear and front facing for a child from 5 to 65 lbs.  It can be configured rear-facing without the headrest from 5 to 22 lbs. and 1” below seat top, rear-facing with the headrest from 5 to 35 lbs. and 1” below seat top, and front facing, 1 year+, 23 to 65 lbs. and up to 50”.  The difference between this True Fit version and the True Fit Premier, is that the Premier has the basic True Fit features plus smaller bottom rails, a patented Rebound Energy Management system, a center “rolling ball” angle indicator, and the side LATCH attachments have been moved for improved convenience.

Pros:

• Removable headrest is a nice option to assist vehicle fit in a rear-facing configuration.
• Easy-off pad and no rethread harness are very convenient features.
• EPP foam liner (used in automobile bumpers).
• Nice feature set for the price range.

Cons:

• Adjusting the harness in rear-facing position is a bit difficult, with the button against the back of the seat.
