The Graco Nautilus 3-in-1 convertible car seat can be used for your child from 20-100 lbs. It can be configured with a 5-point harness up to 65 lbs.  It also converts to a belt-positioning booster seat, and finally to a highback or backless booster up to 100 lbs.  (Note: It appears the difference between this version and the “Nautilus Elite” is that this version does not have the 2-way adjustable height/width headrest.)

Pros:

• Good value.
• Convenient size as opposed to some of the larger carseats.
• Comfortable.
• Cup holder is convenient and can hold bottled water, convenient for older children.
• Storage is convenient.
• Harness adjusts easily.

Cons:

• Crotch strap too short as child gets bigger and cases where buckle falls underneath child’s crotch.
• Seat is fairly upright even with recline, and with headrest padding, is causing some children’s heads to slump forward when sleeping.

• Many users say that their babies grew out of this car seat a bit earlier than expected, while noting their child was under the specified limits due to the limits of the harness strap length at max adjustment.
• The infant carrier is 9.8 lbs., and for most becomes very difficult to lift via handle by the time your child is ~20 lbs, so you may lose use of the carrier feature at that time (this is rated to 30 lbs.).  This is not so much a con, as a note of consideration.
